Siblings Meeting for the first time | Twin Cities Birth Photographer

While it can be beautiful and ideal, It's not always possible or practical to have older children attend the birth of their younger sibling; however knowing how much I treasure the first memories I have of my baby sister (who was born when I was 3),  love when I am invited to include these moments for the families whose births I document.

Healing VBAC at Willow Midwives Birth Center | Minneapolis Birth Photographer

Sometimes our births do not go as planned. Sometimes our bodies have different needs and then medical intervention is necessary and life saving. Sometimes, we are given another opportunity to birth in the way we originally hoped. This family asked me to document their second birth, which they hoped would be a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) at Willow Midwives Birth Center in Minneapolis, where I have had the privilege to document quite a few gorgeous birth journeys with their incredible staff.
